About Us
The Asia-Pacific Leukemia Consortium (APLC) is a not for profit initiative to improve the management of leukemia and related diseases in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The group aims to address the growing threat of leukemia in APAC region through a collaborative approach to advance disease prevention, patient care, research, clinical trials, and education.
Introduction
As the world’s population continues to rapidly grow and age, cancer incidence, prevalence and mortality are also on the rise.
Despite the advancement in medical technology, drug development, cancer prevention strategies there remains a huge divide to bridge in terms of access to drugs, optimizing treatment, translating trial data for a heterogeneous real-world Asia-Pacific population.
